Procurement Summer School

This dedicated Procurement Summer School at Bangor University Institute for Competition & Procurement Studies, addresses the expanding needs of public practitioners, lawyers, policy makers and educators for procurement and contract management skills.
Delivered by leading procurement practitioners, academics and policy makers, the Summer School will equip participants with the knowledge and skills to:

• Understand and appreciate the importance of Procurement
• Profile the market through effective market analysis and appraisal
• Design, manage and review the tender process
• Effectively monitor, measure and manage Suppliers
• Detect and Combat Anti-Competitive Practices in Procurement
• Implement innovative E-procurement Practices
• Design and Engage Public Private Partnerships (PPP)
• Resolve Procurement Disputes

Participants will also explore governance and integrity issues involved in procurement, and learn how to successfully incorporate Social, Green, Industrial and Innovation Policies into Public Procurement.
