The 2013 Welsh National Procurement Awards

The Institute for Competition and Procurement Studies, in collaboration with the Welsh Government, is delighted to offer you the opportunity to nominate an individual, team, project, action, initiative or contract to acknowledge their achievements in procurement for the 2013 Welsh National Procurement Awards.

The awards will be hosted by The Institute for Competition and Procurement Studies (ICPS) and will be held at The Deganwy Quay, Conwy on the evening of 22nd March 2013.
These awards are a way of recognising leadership, excellence and experience in procurement/tendering. There are a total of 10 awards, including:

  • Welsh Buyer & Supplier Award

  • Innovation Champion Award

  • Outstanding Procurement Leadership Award

  • Sustainable Procurement Award

  • E-Procurement Award

  • Community Benefit Award

  • Procurement Collaboration Award

  • Most Improved Supplier Award

  • Procurement Student of The Year Award

  • Outstanding Contribution Award


To nominate an individual, team, project, action or initiative for their achievements in the field of procurement through innovative policies, practicises or procedures, please read the ‘guidelines’ that follows, and complete the application form in its entirety. The nomination deadline is the 15th February 2013.
